Specialties
Anesthesiology: Anesthesiology is the process of blocking the
perception of pain and other sensations. This discipline is dedicated to the relief of pain and total care of the surgical
patient before, during and after surgery.
General Surgery: A General Surgeon has specialized
knowledge and experience related to the diagnosis, pre-operative, operative, and post-operative management, including the
management of complications, in the nine primary components of surgery.
Ophthalmology: Ophthalmologists are physicians specializing
in the comprehensive medical and surgical care of the eyes and vision. Ophthalmologists are the only practitioners medically trained
to diagnose and treat all eye and visual problems including vision services (glasses and contacts) and provide treatment and prevention
of medical disorders of the eye including surgery.
Orthopedics: The scope of orthopedics includes the prevention,
investigation, diagnosis, and treatment of disorders and injuries of the musculoskeletal system or bones, joints, tendons, and muscles
by non-surgical and surgical methods. Orthopaedic Surgery significantly improves the lives of people with operative procedures to
regain mobility and function.
Otolaryngology (ENT): An otolaryngologist, or head and
neck surgeon, is a physician who provides comprehensive medical and surgical care of patients with diseases and disorders
that affect the ears, the respiratory and upper alimentary systems, and related structures of the head and neck.
Pain Management: Pain medicine doctors are experts at
diagnosing why you are having pain as well as treating the pain itself. Pain is managed in a variety of ways including
injection. Pain Management specialists often work closely with other physicians in the treatment of patients with chronic
pain.
Urology: Urology is the field of medicine that specializes
in diseases of the male and female urinary systems and the male reproductive system .The discipline combines management of
medical (i.e., non-surgical) problems such as urinary infections, and surgical problems such as the correction of congenital
abnormalities and the surgical management of cancers.
