Meet Our Surgeon
Jack Deetjen, MD - Orthopedics
Dr. Deetjen graduated from the University of Texas with a B.A. in Zoology before attending the Baylor College of Medicine. He completed
his internship in general surgery at the United States Air Force Medical Center at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base in Ohio, and completed his residency in
orthopedic surgery at Wilford Hall United States Air Force Medical Center at Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio. He is licensed by the Texas State
Board of Medical Examiners.
Deetjen honorably served in the United States Air Force Medical Corps and was ranked as Major. He is also Diplomate, American Board of
Orthopaedic Surgery. Deetjen’s honorable memberships include American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons (Fellow), Society of Military Orthopaedic Surgeons,
Society of Air Force Clinical Surgeons and Christian Medical and Dental Society.
In his spare time, Deetjen enjoys hunting, fishing, playing golf, water sports, word working and SCUBA diving.
Deetjen currently practices orthopedic surgery with concentration on sports medicine, adult reconstruction and trauma, in Seguin, Texas.
