Sharon Acosta, MD - Ophthalmology

Dr. Acosta graduated from the University of Texas with a B.A. in Biology with honors before attending the University Of California Los Angeles School Of Medicine. While attending UCLA, she was a Post-Junior Fellow in the Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine at the UCLA Center for the Health Sciences. Acosta is a certified Diplomate by the American Board of Ophthalmology and is licensed to practice medicine by the Texas State Board of Medical Examiners.

Acosta’s honorable memberships include: American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons, International Society of Refractive Surgeons, American Academy of Ophthalmology, Texas Ophthalmology Association, Austin Ophthalmology Society, American Medical Association, Texas Medical Association and Bell County Medical Society. Her personal honors while attending the University Of Texas Health Science Center include: Chief Resident, Resident of the Year and Resident Selection Committee.

Acosta currently practices ophthalmology at Eye Associates of Seguin, Texas.
